Filing a Counter-Notice

If your content has been removed due to a DMCA takedown notice and you believe that it was removed in error or that you have the right to post the content, you can file a counter-notice. The counter-notice must include the following information:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature (with your full legal name).
  2. Identification of the content that has been removed and its original location on the site before it was removed or disabled.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed due to a mistake or misidentification.

We may notify the original claimant about your counter-notice. Unless they file a lawsuit within ten to fourteen business days to obtain a court order, we may reinstate the removed content at our sole discretion.

Important Information

Filing a counter-notice could lead to legal proceedings between you and the original claimant. Please note that false or bad faith claims can have serious legal consequences. Always ensure that your notices and counter-notices are filed in good faith.

We reserve the right to remove content alleged to be infringing without prior notice and at our sole discretion.
